The Castlemartin estate of former billionaire Tony O'Reilly is to be sold to a US media mogul for €28m.
The 750 acre stud farm in Co Kildare was offered for sale following a Commercial Court judgement in favour of AIB last June.
A judge refused to give the businessman more time to pay his debts. Mr O'Reilly is being pursued by AIB over a €22m debt, which is not in dispute.

Mr Justice Peter Kelly said a stay would curtail the rights of AIB, which is afraid Mr O'Reilly's other creditors may steal a march on them.
The Commercial Court was told that represents 11.6% of his overall personal liabilities.
The estate has now been bought by UPC owner John Malone, who is the largest landowner in the United States.
He recently bought the Ballylinch Stud at Thomastown, Co Kilkenny. Mr Malone has been very active in the Irish market, he has spent upwards of €150m on properties here over the past two years.
Knight Frank describe the house and stud as, "a rare and fine example of Georgian architectural excellence with a stunning back-drop of the River Liffey and surrounding parkland."
The estate dates back to the 1720's, it contains a reception, entertaining rooms, a library and several family rooms - and 10 principal bedrooms in the main house. It also has two farm yards, almost 90 horseboxes, and wintering facilities for 400 cattle.
Newstalk.com's business editor Ian Guider told Breakfast that Castlemartin was the most significant part of Mr O'Reilly's portfolio.
