Socialist TD Paul Murphy is calling for more anti-water charge protesters to breach court orders not to interfere with meter installations.
The Dublin South-West Deputy has hit out at the jailing of five demonstrators for obstructing works in the north of the city.
A protest is being held in Dublin tomorrow against the jailing of the protesters, and is calling for an end to what it calls "political policing."
It is being supported by a range of organisations involved in campaigning against the water charges and water meter installation.
