It seems as if the Irish accent has finished third in a survey of the most attractive English-language accents, just behind British and American.

Ivan was a little bit surprised by the results on this morning's Paper Review. "Cork couldn't feature in the top of Irish accents as sexy for heaven's sake - they'd need to exclude certain counties!" he observed.
