Dublin criminal ‘Fat’ Freddie Thompson was detained yesterday in the Netherlands by local police and found to be carrying an Irish passport, but not his own, and wearing a disguise of a wig and beard.

Thompson is wanted in Ireland in relation to charges relating to an altercation at a funeral in Dublin in 2013, and yesterday Dutch police apprehended Thompson following contact with An Garda Siochána.
