The Fianna Fail leader has reiterated he doesn't want to be in coalition with Fine Gael after the next general election.
It's a prospect that Taoiseach Enda Kenny also ruled out, saying in Limerick last night that there's no place for Micheal Martin's party in government.
Mr Kenny accused Fianna Fail of 'wrecking the economy'.
Micheal Martin made it clear he's not a fan of Fine Gael either stating that the party were hugely unpopular with the electorate: "We wouldn't be going in with Fine Gael.
"Fine Gael are extremely unpopular at the moment, their policies and the measures they have brought forward, in our view, our far too unfair."
"I'm focused on... in terms of fair society for families who are rearing children, in terms of education and health services."
