The former agents of Rory McIlroy are to look for documents and information from electronic devices owned by the golfer.
Pre-trial discovery issues are to be heard today in an action by Mr McIlroy against his former agents, Horizon.
A full hearing will take place at the Commercial Court after previous mediation attempts between the sides ended without agreement.
Mr McIlroy is seeking to void the contract he signed with Horizon in 2011.
He says he was inexperienced - aged just 22 - and did not have the benefit of legal advice when he entered into a contract with the company.
Newstalk.com's courts correspondent Francesca Comyn told Breakfast that Horizon is making a counter-claim.
