In 1974, five people were killed by IRA pub bombings in the town of Guildford in England.
Gerry Conlon was 20 years old and found out about it on the news, just like everybody else. He had never even been to Guildford.
But along with three others, he spent 15 years in prison for a terrorism campaign he knew nothing about.
They became known as the Guildford Four, who made false confessions to the crimes after days of torture and mistreatment by police.
Gerry Conlon is still fighting for justice today, 25 years on from his release, and he says there are other innocent people who are still imprisoned.
He spoke to Ivan Yates on Newstalk Breakfast. You can hear the interview below or download it as podcast on iTunes and the Newstalk app.
