It can be an uphill struggle trying to win the battle of the bulge, but there may be hope, so Breakfast sent Henry out to investigate.

Thousands of Irish people up and down the country are meeting up in GAA clubs and church halls to take part in weight loss groups. So Newstalk Breakfast decided to send Henry McKean out to visit a Slimming World group of about a hundred people at the Transport Club Crumlin in Dublin. 

There Henry spoke to their Slimmer of the Week; learned the weight-loss potential of sex and even met Ivan's taxi driver.
