This morning The Irish Times leads with “Tsipras faces open rebellion within coalition”, while the Irish Independent main story in on the Victims’ Rights Bill coming before Cabinet today, with the headline reading: “Victims set to quiz DPP on lack of prosecutions”.

Meanwhile the Irish Examiner leads with the story that a new payment system will “effectively eliminate” jail time for payment defaulters, with the headline: “Failure to pay fines will not lead to jail”.

Chris looked at a story in the Irish Independent on the Bishop of Elphin, Kevin Doran, telling political parties they can stay away from the church gates when fundraising and “go and collect somewhere else”.

Ivan was taken with a story detailing the correct techniques for dishwashing – and how he had been seemingly getting it wrong for quite some time.

The pair discussed a story on the rising prices for accommodation at the Galway Races, with Ivan insisting he would be staying in the utmost comfort, but Chris could spend the weekend camping.

“You like to go glamping, isn’t it? I’ll get a field, put a few piebald donkeys in it and you can go glamping,” Ivan told Chris.
