Ireland’s progressive think-tank, TASC, says that Ireland is deeply divided between those in good jobs and those without.
Furthermore, they think minimum wage is not enough to live off and that we should be aiming towards a living wage instead.
These are some of the points that will be made later today at this year’s conference called 'The Challenge of Economic Inequality to Recovery and Wellbeing'.
Dr Nat O'Connor, director of TASC, spoke to Chris Donoghue on Newstalk Breakfast this morning.
