The Labour Relations Commission (LRC) will hold talks today between senior management of Irish Water and union officials from SIPTU, IMPACT and the TEEU.
The discussions are over unpaid bonus payments, which were promised to Irish Water and Board Gáis workers in 2012.
SIPTU says these are not bonuses, but rather "performance-related awards".

It says the money had been withheld until workers perform to a certain level that warrants the payments.
Adrian Kane is the SIPTU sector organiser in Irish Water.
He told Newstalk Breakfast these were part of workers contracts.
