Is gossip necessary? Today's Paper Review began with a report that suggests that it is, and is in fact one of the things that separates humans from animals.

On the front pages of the broadsheets, two photos are quite prominent. One shows the presentation to Jack Charlton before yesterday's Ireland v England match, for many a highlight of yesterday's action at the Aviva.

The second picture is also from yesterday's match - showing FAI's John Delaney kissing his partner in full view of the Sports Minister and everybody else. Ivan stressed the kiss was "appropriate... insofar as it's on the lips, shall we say".

The IBRC inquiry remains prominent across the papers, while the Independent reports that some families are caught in an inheritence tax trap.

Some of the stories in the tabloids include the story of a woman who suffered a heart attack and spent 16 hours on a hospital trolley, while The Daily Star covers a serious attack on a GAA star who is also a prison officer.

Ivan learned about the existence of Ireland's only butterfly farm - but only because of the sad news that it is to close. And new research highlighted by Chris shows that while we're living longer, we're also living longer with serious health issuess.

For more and these stories and more, be sure to listen back to the first Paper Review of the week below:
