An Irish woman is set to testify in New York at the trial of a former investment banker she has accused of rape.
Jason Lee, a former managing director at Goldman Sachs, is accused of assaulting the woman (22) at a property he was renting in the Hamptons in August of 2013.
Mr Lee was celebrating his birthday when he met the Irish woman and her friends. The students had been working there during the summer season.
He is facing one charge of rape and two charges of sexual assault.
His lawyers say he did have sex with the woman, but claims it was consensual.
New York-based reporter Rob Crilly told Newstalk Breakfast there will be no jury for this trial.
