The body of the final Irish victim of the Berkeley balcony tragedy has been brought back to Ireland.

The remains of Olivia Burke (21) returned on an Aer Lingus flight from San Francisco this morning.

It comes after a joint service for Olivia and her cousin Ashley in the US over the weekend - and as the families of all six victims prepare to lay their loved ones to rest.

Yesterday the bodies of the four other victims, arrived back home to Dublin from from San Francisco.

The hearses of Eoghan Culligan, Lorcán Miller, Niccolai Schuster and Eimear Walsh - who were all aged 21 - were led out of Dublin Airport by a garda escort yesterday morning.

The six died when an apartment balcony collapsed during a birthday party in the university city of Berkeley last Tuesday.

The Irish students were in California on J1 visas.

Funeral arrangements for Eoghan Cuilligan and Nicolai Schuster have been announced, and are due to take place tomorrow and Wednesday.

At the weekend, the families released a joint statement appealing for privacy to grieve the loss of their sons and daughters at this tragic time.

Meanwhile, investigations continue at the apartment complex into what caused the collpase.
