A low cost Icelandic airline is to start offering flights from Dublin to the US.
WOW air says the service will begin in October and flights will cost as little as 149 euro one-way.
The airline says the flights will be from Dublin to Boston and Washington via Reykjavic.
However, unlike direct flights from Ireland, passengers will not be able to pre-clear US customs and border control as the route is via Iceland.
According to the Irish Times, the flights will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays and will open on June 2nd this year.
The flights will last on average 12 hours.
