Sinn Fein's Mary Lou McDonald insists she was right to name a number of politicians in a dossier of alleged tax evasion in the Dail last December.
She used Dail privilege to name several former prominent TDs, including a number of Ministers.
Deputy McDonald says she hasn't received any letters from either the Ceann Comhairle or the Committee on Procedures and Privileges, but insists she was right to raise the matter.
During the interview, Ivan Yates pressed her on whether she stood over the allegations but she answered that she had the right to name the TDs in the Dáil.
Ivan asked: "do you stand over the allegations?" to which Ms McDonald responded: "The allegations come from a whistleblower, a very credible whistleblower.
"Given the seriousness of these allegations from a credible source, we require an independent process to review the allegations and to adjudicate on them.
"I do not assume for a minute to be the appropriate person or authority to do that. We need that review to happen."
