The Minister with responsibility for primary care has admitted the government will not meet its own deadline for free GP care for children.
Alex White has admitted that delays in talks with GPs mean under-6s won't have free treatment by this summer.
The plan announced in last October's Budget was intended to be in place by the end of this month.
But Minister White says he is still hopeful that the scheme can be up and running by Autumn:
