Ennio Morricone’s theme to the spaghetti western Fistful of Dollars is as recognisable as Clint Eastwood’s poncho from the movie. It’s John Kelleher’s classic choice for this week, but if Westerns aren’t your thing, we have plenty else to keep you entertained. PLOT: A Fistful of Dollars is a 1964 spaghetti western film directed by Sergio Leone and starring Clint Eastwood, An anonymous, but deadly man rides into a town torn by war between two factions, the Baxters and the Rojo's. Instead of fleeing or dying, as most other would do, the man schemes to play the two sides off each other, getting rich in the bargain.
