The Oscar winners will be finally announced tonight after what has been a pretty interesting year for film.

As many critics have pointed out, this year has been particularly difficult to read; Boyhood seemed like the clear winner for Best Picture but now Birdman seems to be gaining momentum for this and for Best Director.

On top of that, American Sniper is doing a lot better than first imagined.

There could be quite a few upsets tonight.
