A fresh drive to resolve a pensions row threatening to hit travel at Dublin, Cork and Shannon airports is underway.
SIPTU members at the airports and at Aer Lingus this week voted in favour of taking industrial action over the dispute.
Now the trustees of a pension scheme which is jointly run across Dublin Airport Authority and the airline are to try and hammer out new proposals, which it's hoped could avert problems.
Martin Wall is Industrial Relations Correspondent at the Irish Times - he told Newstalk's Breakfast that for now, industrial action is still on the cards:
Staff at the DAA have been seeking to have their employer deal with a deficit in the Irish Airlines Superannuation Scheme (IASS).
SIPTU has already said they would welcome a new intervention, and before the eleventh hour.
