This morning, the papers filled us with fear as it is April Fool's Day, it was exceptionally difficult to tell what exactly what is true and what isn't.

The Irish Times leads with the Fiscal Advisory Council and the fact that there is limited room for income tax cuts in next year's Budget.

The Irish Independent highlighted that variable mortgage borrowers have been "deserted" by Michael Noonan while also stating that the marriage age has risen again.

The Examiner featured a story about Ian Bailey's partner who is intending to sue despite the loss of Bailey's case.

The tabloids led with various headlines, "I faint every time I laugh", more on the Graham Dwyer trial and the fire in Kildare which occurred last night.

Chris featured a story about the fact that you can taste various flavours of food by just licking a page in the Irish Sun today.

Chris also discussed a story in the problem page with a mother-in-law causing issues in a certain man's marriage. Ivan's advice: "Get out of there quick".

And apparently, David Cameron has revealed that Kim Kardashian is his 13th cousin.
