Twitter Ireland, along with other leading organisations in the technology industry, will officially announce their support for a Yes vote in next month’s same-sex marriage referendum, later today.
Industry leaders will make the case that a Yes vote would make Ireland a more attractive destination to international businesses, who would view Irish society as more diverse and accepting in the event that same-sex marriage was introduced.
So today we asked you, should international companies get involved in Irish issues?
The results are in and it's a tighter call than the referendum itself, with just over 50% believing international companies should offer their opinion, and just below 50% believing they should not. In the end the gap between the two sides was a hair's breadth - just 1.86% between the two.
