All this week on Newstalk, we are celebrating Electric Ireland's Powering Kindness week and we need your help to put power behind kindness for a good cause.
Powering kindness Week - News Talk 106 -108 fm - Electric Ireland. from Matthieu CHARDON on Vimeo.
Team Breakfast want to raise money for their chosen charity, Special Olympics, and they need your help.
Team Lunchtime and Moncrieff want to raise money for their chosen charity, Childline, and they need your help.
Team Hook hopes to raise money for their chosen charity, Breakthrough Cancer Research, and they need your help.
It’s really simple! Just do a good deed for someone, then text either SPECIAL / CHILD or BREAKTHROUGH followed by your good deed to 53106 (costs 30c) or enter your deed on the Powering Kindness website and pick ‘Childline’ to benefit from your kindness.
At the end of the week, Electric Ireland will share the sum of €100,000 between the three charities listed below, with the largest amount going to the charity with the highest number of good deeds in their name. Not only that, the 3 best deeds entered will also win €1,500 worth of energy each!
So whether its washing your neighbour's car for Childline; making your loved one breakfast in bed for Breakthrough Cancer Research; or just making a colleague a cup of tea for Special Olympics - its the deed that counts.
Make sure to tune in to Newstalk all next week and help celebrate Electric Ireland’s Powering Kindness week.
