Today is World Autism Day and people are encouraged to wear blue to mark the seventh annual awareness campaign. With 1 in every 80 to 100 people in Ireland on the autism spectrum, this issue is something very important to many.
This morning on Newstalk Breakfast we spoke to Davida Hartman, senior disability psychologist in HSE Carlow and Kilkenny, and she shared tips for supporting children with autism through puberty, adolescence and beyond.
