The papers were this morning dominated by the Graham Dwyer trial and verdict with some papers releasing information that was not available during the trial.

The Irish Times featured a story about the amount of money the HSE has paid out over problems with births in hospitals.

Meanwhile, the Irish Independent led with the Water bill crackdown on council tenants while the Irish Examiner highlights the SAFE Ireland report which states that domestic violence victims are being failed by the legal system here.

The tabloids all lead with the Graham Dwyer trial and the possibility of an appeal.

Chris highlighted a story about the Bond crew who were put on probation after causing some damage to a private plane.

Ivan looked at a story from The Daily Mail which stated that if you are stressed or anxious, you could be damaging your child's prospects. A follow-on from this report found that teenagers need to spend time with their parents.

New research has said that sharing emotions can help women feel more positive. Ivan agreed as he thought the Fault in our Stars was very emotional and as Chris claimed he said, better than the Godfather.

Finally, the pair discussed a new scheme featured in the Irish Independent which will take place in Ireland between 2015 and 2018 monitoring... bats. The scheme will cost €250,000.  Let's just say Ivan wasn't very impressed...
