The front pages of the papers this morning were mainly dominated by the story of an assessment of the existence of the Provisional IRA.

The Irish Times leads with that story and their opinion piece on page 14 from former Justice Minister Michael McDowell who claimed the IRA were allowed to continue to exist due to fear of dissident groups.

The Irish Independent also leads with the IRA story but a different angle, "Garda chief is ordered to reassess IRA threat".

Meanwhile, the Irish Examiner goes with the fact that the murder inquiry of Kevin McGuigan will tie into the assessment from Francis Fitzgerald.

The tabloids lead with various stories from the driver who was pictured on the M50 driving at high speeds on his IPad to the front of the Mirror which tells the sad story of a husband who died just 24 hours after his wife passed away.

The pair also discussed the fact that an Taisce is querying why Star Wars are being allowed to film again on Skellig Micheal, a protected area.

Ivan brought up the fact that according to a study featured in the Examiner, women are more adaptive to same sex relationships. Women are three times more likely to change their sexual orientation.
