The papers were mainly dominated by two stories this morning, the arrests regarding the Joan Burton protest and the trial of Alexander Pacteau.

The Irish Times goes with the HIQA reports from yesterday, "Inspectors find failing in every HSE disability care home".

The Irish Independent leads with the story regarding the Joan Burton protest and that the Tánaiste will testify in the trial of anti-water charges protesters.

The Irish Examiner leads with an education story, €453 per month for each child in college. They also feature the story concerning the politicians arrested in relation to the Joan Burton protest in Jobstown.

The tabloids go with various headlines. The Irish Daily Mail goes with that story about college education costs while the others go with coverage of the Alexander Pacteau trial.

The pair also discussed a study in a couple of the papers which found that listening to music before, during and after surgery is less pain. Patients were less anxious after the procedure.

Chris highlighted a story about how much engagement rings cost across the country with Cork spending the most amount of money on a ring.

Shane talked about builders bum. Yes, apparently there's now a solution to that.

They also talked about the amount of cats that people own with Chris discussing the fact that Ivan is convinced he shares his life with a cat.
