This morning, the papers led with various headlines from the Irish nanny who has been granted bail in the States to the latest on how the Government will deal with those not paying water charges.

The Irish Times leads with that story and the fact that there will be no jail sentence for those who won't pay their water bills.

The Irish Independent highlights that Sinn Féin were "rocked" yesterday by the murder of one of the IRA chiefs.

Firms to carry out drug tests on drivers is the lead in the Irish Examiner and also water debt charges are to be brought before Cabinet.

The tabloids also look at the fact that those who don't pay their water charges may have the money taken from their wages. The Irish Daily Star continues the interview with Mark Nash's daughter.

The pair also discussed a story about the Pope who called sick people during the week in hospitals and the man who didn't quite believe him. The gentleman in question hung up on the Pope three times.
