The papers led with various headlines from social welfare fraud to the release of Eamonn Lillis, who served five years for killing his wife.

The Irish Times leads with that report about tip-offs of social welfare fraud which has saved the Department of Social Protection millions.

The Irish Independent highlighted the fact that Hillary Clinton has officially announced that she is running for the American Presidency next year while the Irish Examiner also featured the Clinton story.

The tabloids were mainly dominated by the release of Eamonn Lillis while the Irish Daily Mail featured a story about the rental crisis hitting the commuter belt. They also led with the story of a stabbing in Dublin yesterday.

Chris discussed a story that stated 350,000 CCTV cameras are now in operation across the country with a lot of the population under surveillance.

Shane also talked about the fact that whistlers are a dying breed which he was very upset about. Apparently, fewer milk men and post men whistle a tune.

The pair also discussed how Australia has now decided that it will not provide welfare payments to parents who won't vaccinate their children and a glossary of Irish slang terms was printed because of an Irish play in the states. Craic is apparently good conversation, Chris replied: "craic is fun, isn't it?"
