The papers across the board led with pictures from the various Easter Rising events over the weekend and of course, the good weather and egg hunts.

The Irish Times led with the story about the HSE failing to act on the Portlaoise safety risks which were highlighted by HIQA. The also featured the story about just 10% of places being available for children of past pupils in schools.

The Irish Independent featured the story about the fact that the privilege of reserving places for children of past pupils will be wiped out under new plans by Minister Jan O'Sullivan.

The Irish Examiner leads with Catholic Bishops coming out against confidential agreements in relation to some priests having fathered a child.

The tabloids led with the hit and run which took place in the Phoenix Park while the Sun featured the Grand National Winner, Katie Walsh.

The Irish Daily Mail featured a story about a man due to be executed in China in relation to an unsolved murder in Ireland.

Shane's headline of the day was Galvin Klein, a story about how Dunnes have hired Paul Galvin to be one of their designers.

Chris featured a story about a new GAA player who is lining out in Laois. The 67-year-old kitted out this weekend against two of his sons.

The Daily Mail had a story about couples who have to get up at different times. A new alarm will monitor two people in the bed and will direct the sound to one side of the bed.

Shane featured a story about the Teletubbies making a comeback and a new phone charger which will just take seconds to charge your phone instead of hours.

The pair also looked at a story which featured how many fake followers certain Irish celebrities have and apparently George Hook has 84,000 fake followers.
