New research has found that almost half of all Irish counties are now unaffordable for first time home buyers.

The EY research found that in some counties, first time buyers on an average income will need 15 or more years to save for a 10% deposit.

Annette Hughes, Director of the EY-DKM Economic Advisory which undertook the report joins to tell us more.
