Newstalk 106-108 fm has today announced that Vincent Wall will join the station as Business Editor. Wall, who previously worked as a business journalist for 15 years, will present the successful Business Breakfast show from 6:30am to 7:00am bringing the latest international and national business news stories to listeners each morning.
Vincent has extensive experience in financial journalism and was previously the editor of Business and Finance magazine, the Business News Editor for the Irish Independent and Business Correspondent for RTE. During the last number of years, Wall was a corporate communications consultant with particular experience in the aviation, real estate, retail and education sectors. Before his consulting career he was Director of Communications for DAA during a period when it invested €1.2 billion in a new airport terminal and other airport infrastructure. Vincent’s first broadcast as Business Editor is scheduled for March 9th.
Newstalk is also delighted to announce that business advisory firm Grant Thornton has renewed its sponsorship of Business Breakfast. The sponsorship, now in its second year, includes business news inserts into Newstalk Breakfast, presented by Ivan Yates and Chris Donoghue and with a listenership of 153,000 listeners daily.
