Earlier in the week, chef Oliver Dunne told Newstalk Breakfast that Irish hospital food is not good enough to give to sick people.
The chef, who has earned a Michelin star for his work in Bon Appetit and Cleaver East, said: "You know it can be a little ice-cream scoop of mashed potato that is completely dry and horrible, and then there would be some sort of peas on your plate that would be completely dehydrated, and then a slice of meat again that is dry."
Naturally, we challenged him to back up his claim that he could do a better job – and we think it's fair to say he passed with flying colours, aromas, tastes and... okay, we're just making ourselves hungry now.
