It has been confirmed that Graham Dwyer has lodged papers to appeal his conviction for the murder of Elaine O'Hara.

Papers outlining the decision to appeal have now been received by the Courts Service.

The architect (42) - with an address at Kerrymount Close, Foxrock, Co Dublin - began a mandatory life sentence last month after being found guilty of murdering the childcare worker in 2012.
