A couple due to get married in Cork this week say the wedding is going ahead as planned.
Brian and Caroline have been planning for their big day this coming Friday.
Speaking to Newstalk Breakfast on Monday, however, Brian suggested there were questions about whether the wedding would go ahead due to the coronavirus situation.
He said their biggest concern was the safety of their guests, and that nobody knew what was going to happen over the course of the week.
He spoke to the show this morning to provide an update on the situation.
Brian explained: "We're still going ahead - we're stuff full steam ahead. There's still a small bit of doubt... but we're still going ahead.
"Unless something big breaks in the next 24 or 48 hours... it's going ahead"
Brian has been talking to some of the suppliers for his wedding, and they're already getting cancellations for the next few weeks.
However, he and Caroline are still planning to go ahead with their own event - albeit with a few extra controls in the church as a precaution and a small number of guest cancellations.
Brian told Kieran: "We're going to send a text message out this afternoon to everybody, just to make sure we have final numbers - we completely understand if people are a bit nervous and want to be cautious.
"Maybe one grandparent might not make it, but we'll play that one by ear.
"It'll take a lot more than the coronavirus to stop me kissing my bride".
