The broadsheets this morning mostly lead with the story about the controversy over mortgages.

The Irish Independent highlighted the story with Enda Kenny saying that the banks need to do more with variable mortgages.

The Irish Examiner featured the fact that numbers reveal surge in economy while the Irish Times highlighted the commercial banks facing pressure to cut home loan rates.

The tabloids featured the fact that Graham Dwyer may be releasing a tell-all book, The Sun led with the Newbridge fire story and the Herald leads with a six-year-old boy has been saved by the Gardaí after an investigation into paedophilia.

Chris highlighted a story about the Pope who told an interviewer that what he misses most since taking office is the fact that he can't just pop out for a pizza anymore. Ivan wanted to know, what's wrong with a plump Pope?

The pair discussed a story about a man called Ray Heffernan who has failed his driving test 14 times. Ivan sounded distraught.

Want to meet Al Pacino? Well, apparently you can pay €900 to hang out with him in his dressing room when he comes to Dublin. The star is on a series of meet and greets.

The Girl in the Spiders Web, another in the series from Stieg Larsson which has been finished by another author, will be released worldwide on April 27th.

Ivan finished by discussing the story of a bin man who found €1500 in a boot and attempted to return it to his rightful owner. Chris insisted you should try and return it.

Ivan disagreed: "Finders keepers, losers weepers. I'd wrestle with my conscience for about ten minutes and I'd win."

Chris replied: "I have to believe you're better than that." Ivan: "Don't."
