Woman (90) recovers from court ordeal over satellite

Anne Rudd (90) from Terenure is recovering today after a difficult day in court, during which she agreed to remove a satellite dish from her house.

She was prosecuted by Dublin City Council for failing to remove the unauthorised dish within the required time after an enforcement notice was served earlier this year.

It looks like she will now be left with the legal fees of €1,500.

The satellite dish - a birthday present to the senior citizen - has now been removed.
