The number of women committing road offences has risen sharply in the last decade.
Figures in today's Irish Independent show that more women are engaging in risky behaviour, including drink driving, which is up 5 percent since 2003.
One in eight convictions for dangerous/careless driving are women, and they account for 29 percent of those found driving without a licence - up from 18% 10 years ago.
There's also been a rise in the number of female drivers with no insurance.
