Chris thinks Ivan is following him - into radio, over to TV, and now into the world of cinema. Following Chris’s cameo turn in ‘The Guarantee’, he wondered today if Ivan might be interested in auditioning for a role in ‘The Journey’ a new political thriller to be set in Northern Ireland. The only question that remained to be asked was – would Ivan rather play Martin McGuinness or Ian Paisley?

This morning’s front pages were filled with Brian Cowen’s appearance at the Banking Inquiry yesterday, with the Irish Times headline, “FF did ‘right thing’, Cowen tells inquiry”, while the Indo went with: “Brian Cowen: ‘I am happy that we did what we did’”.

Clodagh Cogley, the 21-year-old Trinity College student who was severely injured in the Berkeley tragedy, is on the front page of the Mirror and the Sun, after the first photos of her since the tragedy were posted online yesterday, showing Clodagh making her first steps on the road to recovery.
