Ministers have approved plans to criminalise the sharing of intimate images without consent, regardless of the motivation for doing so.

 

Amendments are being made to Brendan Howlin’s Harassment, Harmful Communication and Related Offences Bill.

 

The bill comes before the Oireachtas Justice Committee today, when Minister McEntee will face questions from TDs and Senators.
