In just over a year all banks and insurance companies will be legally obliged under EU law to ensure that they have enough protections in place to deal with a cyber attack. 

It’s called the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and banking directors will be responsible for robustly managing personal data and any technological issues. Ergo is an Irish company that advises in this space and  Steve Blanche is the CTO of Ergo who joined Joe on the show this morning.
