Many of us remember the Guaranteed Irish ad campaigns in the 1980s supporting indigenous companies.  Then it was banned under Single market rules but now it’s back and with an award scheme for the best businesses supporting Irish goods and services. 

One of the shortlisted firms is Blarney Woollen Mills and Helen Coughlan the Retail Director at Blarney as well as  Meadows & Byrne joined Joe this morning on Breakfast Business to chat about her business and the new award scheme.
