This won't come as a shock for anyone out there seeking to buy a home. But data from myHome.ie has confirmed just how tight the sales market is in Ireland by showing that the number of properties available last month was 50% lower than July 2014 despite having built at least 200,000 homes in that time. The problem is especially acute in Munster where there are now 61% fewer properties to buy than 10 years ago.
We get the details from Joanne Geary is Managing Director of MyHome.ie .
