Anyone who has ever toured Ireland in the summer will know that we are spoiled in this country with the amount of small independent art and music festivals on offer.

But what exactly goes into setting up and running an arts festival? And how do they keep the show on the road year after year?

For our Industry Review this week, we’re taking a look at the ‘Business of Arts Festivals’, and joining Gavin in studio this morning was Edel Tobin, Founder and Project Manager of the Waterford Walls Festival, Emma Geoghegan Chairperson of the Carlow Arts Festival and Rick Dodey Founder of Frayed Festival.
