Now, along with the garda station, the butchers, the local shop, and the GP practice - the post office has been a cornerstone of local communities across Ireland for as long as they’ve been around.
But with the way we do business changing by the day, the role of the post office in local communities has had to change as well.
With that in mind Bobby wanted to speak to three postmasters about the business.
