John Moran was Department of Finance secretary general during the Troika bailout years and has become the figurehead of a wide-ranging campaign to get the Government to provide ongoing support to SMEs in recent weeks.
Bobby was joined by John to discuss the similarities and differences between the 2008 financial crash and the current recession we are experiencing now as a result of Covid-19, the critical role SMEs play in the structure of our economy and together ask if there is a way we can get them through the next 12 months through government investment.
