In recent weeks there has been quite a stir both at the LHC and the FermiLab in the United States.

Scientists believe they may have found a fifth force of nature which could revolutionise our understanding of the standard model and the very properties which govern the universe itself.

But what has or hasn’t been discovered thus far?

Dr Chris Parkes, Professor of Experimental Particle Physics at Manchester University, and Spokesperson for LHCb Collaboration joined Jonathan to discuss.
