As a species, our drive to innovate has always informed our ability to survive.

From stone, to bronze, to iron - entire ages of human civilization have been defined by the very technologies we use.

From rock, to spear, to tanks and bombs, and now, possibly even AI.

Laura Nolan is a Computer scientist and Member of the International Committee for Robot Arms Control
