The Chinese New Year is almost apon us, this year it's the year of the Rat, far from being seen as a pest, the rat is sharp and witty and considered a good friend. From the 24th of January the Dublin Chinese New Year Festival kicks off with talks, food, film, music and family friendly events. Henry McKean met the Irish Chinese community and discussed what does Chinese New Year actually mean and the Sino Hibernian links, he sent us this report.
