Leo Varadkar has warned it can’t be guaranteed that a boil water notice affecting 600,000 Dublin north siders and areas of Kildare and Meath before the bank holiday weekend.

The Taoiseach says it will take 3 clear results until the boil water notice will be lifted.

Irish Water last night issued the notice after a “Technical” issue at their Leixslip water treatment plant. Untreated water is in the system but new water coming from the plant is fully treated.
